In-Depth Studies began in 1983 as a teaching ministry on the campus of Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Originally called The Whitefield Society, the Arizona-based ministry of In-Depth Studies has grown to have a world-wide influence and ministry in such countries as Belarus, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Germany, Canada and Great Britain.

The theological point of view of In-Depth Studies is that of the Reformation in as far as we hold to the Doctrines of Grace (TULIP), the sovereignty of God in all things, and the final authority of Scripture in all matters. We would not agree with the Reformed view of infant baptism, the purpose and place of the 10 Commandments as the essence of all moral law, or the reformed view of the Sabbath. In addition, we hold to the view of New Covenant Theology. We practice believer’s baptism while holding that the believer today is under obligation to obey the Law of Christ.
